This Privacy Policy describes how Pixbots Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, processes, stores and protects personal data of users (“you”, “user”, “customer”) when you use the LynxTrac platform (“Service”).
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account Information: name, email address, phone number (if provided), organization name (if B2B), billing information (for paid plans), authentication credentials (hashed password), account usage metadata.
Usage Data: IP address, device/browser metadata, login timestamps, monitoring-related metadata (server-device identifiers, device metadata, status, logs, metrics, alert history) — only for the devices you add for monitoring.
Communications: support requests, emails, chat messages, feedback you send us, including any attachments.
Billing & Payment Data: payment method (as tokenized information via payment provider), billing address, transaction records — note: we do not store full card details (if using external payment processor).
2. How and Why We Use Your Information
We use collected data for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain the Service (device monitoring, alerts, dashboards, log/metric storage).
To authenticate and manage your account, billing, subscription status.
To respond to support requests, feedback, and communicate about Service changes or updates.
To detect and prevent abuse or misuse of the Service, secure the platform, and comply with law enforcement requests.
To analyze usage patterns for improving service performance, user experience, and feature development (in aggregated or anonymized form).
To send you transactional emails related to billing, subscription renewal, account activity, service announcements, and policy updates.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
With third-party service providers (e.g. payment processors, hosting providers, email providers) — limited to what is necessary to deliver the Service.
If required by law, regulation or legal process (court order, government request), or to protect our legitimate rights, property or safety (or of our users).
In connection with merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets — in which case we will notify affected users and obtain necessary consents if required.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Data is stored on secure servers operated by our hosting provider.
We retain your personal data and Service-related data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services.
Deleted or deactivated devices/data will be handled as per our Inactivity & Data Retention policy (see below).
For users on Free Plan or after account termination: we may permanently delete account-related data after a reasonable retention period (as defined in our Data Retention policy) unless legally required to keep certain records (e.g. billing).
5. Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data, such as: encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), secure authentication, access controls, data isolation, regular backups, and monitoring for unauthorized access.
However, no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. User Rights & Data Control
You may:
Access your account and review or update your personal information and billing details.
Request deletion of your data (subject to device-cleanup / retention policy).
Request export of your data (logs, metrics, account info) — if this feature is implemented.
Receive communications about changes to this Privacy Policy.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we collected data of a minor, please contact us; we will delete the data as soon as possible.
8. International Data Transfers
If you are outside India, by using the Service you consent to transfer, storage or processing of your data on servers located in countries outside your jurisdiction.
9. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the “Last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
